BiZZdesign release news – vol. 7

A new article from the series on news in BiZZdesign offers you an overview of the newly added functionality and a description of the bugs fixed in the latest BiZZdesign release.
The latest version of BiZZdesign is marked as version 4 and its last release was released on September 24, 2021. Cloud solutions are upgraded automatically after the release. 1. Sharing content via a direct URL
The content sharing feature of the HoriZZon portal now has the option to share via a direct link. This option is suitable for embedding views in Confluence using the Iframe macro, but can also be used on other platforms where direct link embedding is required, such as Microsoft Teams. To share views via a direct link, use the option Embed URL.
2. The date of the last activity available on the user's page
From now on, the date of the user's last activity is available, in addition to the user overview page and the export of users, also on the individual user page.
3. Personal storage is not affected when changing a user's login name
After changing the user's login name (email address or Windows account name), the user will no longer be affected by the loss of access to personal storage.
4. Additional security measure for user inactivity in HoriZZon
From now on, if the user is inactive during a HoriZZon session but leaves the web browser window active with HoriZZon open, a message will appear asking if the user wants to log out or continue. The session will be terminated and the user will be automatically logged out. If the user does not reply to the message, he will be automatically logged out as well.
5. Displaying the date in application language formatting
From now on, the dates are displayed in the HoriZZon portal in the format of the currently set application language. Until now, English formatting has always been applied.
6. Improved invitation page for users and groups
The user invitation page in HoriZZon and the Enterprise Studio modeling environment has been improved to more accurately reflect users who may be invited.

The date format in the user export to CSV was not readable by other applications (there was a change to the ISO 8601 standard).
